Summer and Fall of 2006: Appearances
Action, adventure and the human condition!
These are just some of the things artists and writers have explored for
generations through the world of comics. Comic art is one of the most
popular story-telling mediums around the globe - from comic strips to
Maga, from humorous teen ankhs to social commentary. From kids to adults,
comics speak to all of us!
Now professional freelance novelist, playwright, and comics
author Alex Simmons introduces students to the exciting process of creating
comics - from idea, to script, to full color art. Through his mini workshops,
students will develop characters, designs and profiles, as well as plot,
pencil, ink, and color their own comic strip creation. Where? (Download
